Imagine you won the lottery – what would be the first thing you would do? Buy a new car, house, invest it in a nice RSP.
Booooooooooooring!! How about buying yourself a Caterpillar 350L mass excavator and getting out there to dig yourself some massive holes!
Thankfully you won’t have to win the lottery to ‘live the dream’. Instead head out to Diggerland and dig to your hearts content.
Diggerland is exactly what it sounds like. Associated with the UK’s largest specialist excavator hire company there are four themed parks: one at Strood, Kent, one at Langley Park, Co. Durham, one at Verbeer Manor, Cullompton, Devon and one at Whitwood, near Castleford in West Yorkshire.
At the parks you will have the opportunity to learn about the workings of the machines from fully trained Instructors and actually drive them too.

The parks are run as a pseudo family them park / construction site / corporate bonding parks – so there is definitely something for everyone.
So get out there and start digging!
Peace out
Brydon.

We’re supporting Breast Cancer Awareness week – and if you happen to meet any on of us today, you’ll find us wearing pink.

Our support is in aid of a serious issue, with on average 120 women being diagnosed in the UK every day with breast cancer.
We are holding a cake sale today to raise funds as a small way to demonstrate our support for the charities involved.
Tired of eating at the same places weekend after weekend? Pizza express just not doing it for you anymore?
How about something with a bit more of a Greek drag queen / wartime speakeasy-esc- atmosphere. Well, I’ve found it!
If your looking for a “very” alternative dinning experience and are up for something a lot different – make sure you check out ‘Behind the Pale Blue Door’ at The Pale Blue Door. [5 Glebe st, E8 4BD].

Essentially, part art installation, restaurant, and performance; Set designer extraordinaire Tony Hornecker (who designed the artwork on Bat for Lashes’ latest album) has opened a pop up restaurant in his eclectic abode to tingle both your taste and eyebuds.
Tony draws on his previous experience as a chef to create a delicious experience involving roast beef and arts to create an evening like none other. Just remember to knock three times and wait till a heavily lacquered hand reaches out to invite you in.
The experience is £30 a head and If you are interested in making it an evening email thepalebluedoor@hotmail.co.uk to make a booking.
Peace Out!

A colleague across the Media Square group noticed these. Have a look at the following two executions and spot the similarity.
Well, there may well be an original idea.
Work by Kihwan Kim, Dr. Sangmin-Oh, Jeonggyu Lee and Professor Dr. Irfan Essa whom are working on Augmented Reality have created a mash-up of Goodle Earth, Microsoft Visual Earth and user generated video to demonstrate how we may, in the future, be able to interact online with the real world.

On September 3rd, team Wax Balls literally went ‘Old Skool’ and headed off to Regents Park for an afternoon of fun, frolics and frivolity.
Despite gale force conditions, an impressive 25 competitors took to the start line.
Proceedings were kicked off by a rather half hearted warm up routine, spurred on by the 2 team captains, Anna for the yellows and Brydon for the blacks.
Once ‘warm’ both teams jumped, skipped, ran, and hopped their way through 6 retro races. Some impressive performances to note were Phil ‘Ussain Bolt’ Pawsey, Brydon Gerus managing to run scarily fast in high heels (had he done that before??!), Sean ‘Wallaby’ Watkins and Gina ‘my boobs hurt’ Bolger.
The yellow team took an impressive lead winning the relay, 3-legged and sack race.
Not to be deterred, the black team made an astounding come back, winning the fancy dress, spinning and egg and (giant) spoon race!
The tug of war was the deciding game – and tensions were high.
The excitement was at fever pitch as Graham struggled to keep both teams in order before dropping the rope.
After a few almighty heaves, team yellow were victorious and held the impressive Wax Balls trophy aloft (many thanks to Sophie for making the trophy in her Dads garage- it was brilliant!)
A special mention also has to go to Chris Vincent who was wearing the only fancy dress outfit (even if the boys did pop out of the barracks a bit too often!), Graham Vernon Grace and his able helper Craig for some great umpiring and to the Wax Live team for organising the whole event and Brydon for his creative genius.
Obviously all that activity made us very thirsty, so we all popped off to the local for a few pints of beer.
Lovely.

Whilst digital natives are immersed in the digital space, digital immigrants are still coming to terms with opportunities (and also the technologies).
To this end, Mickey Rooney talks to Ben Stiller about Twitter.
Brilliant.
